Permanence for Detroit Prep

In 2019, we moved into the school home of our dreams - a formerly abandoned building brought back to life with and for our community. Now we're taking the final step: making this building permanently ours.

Detroit Prep adds one grade level each year. By year three, we’d outgrown our old rented space - and with your support, we found our forever home: the Joyce School in Pingree Park.

You helped us renovate it.

You helped us fill it with light, learning, and 450 incredible kids.

Home For Good is the final chapter. A $250,000 campaign to fully own our building and free up future dollars for students instead of financing.

Every dollar raised now stays with kids, teachers, and the neighborhood where this school belongs.
